A secret island, a pier for fishing, trails and a beautiful beach -- all of these features make Gross Out Camp at Frank Jackson State Park an exciting summer camp. Thanks to the Solon and Martha Dixon Foundation and the Estep Foundation, we have financial aid! Campers will explore the island searching for roly polies, millipedes, fungi and tracks. They will wade into the shallow waters at the beach and look for larvae and shells. The pavilion is the place for science experiments. Fishing at the pier with homemade rods and freshly-dug worms teach survival lessons that are unforgettable.
