Chapman Mountain Nature Preserve is a 740-acre North Alabama Landtrust property. A little over 4.5 miles of trails are ready to explore. Campers will walk the trails, build debris shelters, perform science experiments in the pavilion and search for bugs and worms in the soil. The preserve is also a stop on the Alabama Birding Trail. A key feature for birders is the Bird Blind & Habitat to learn about flight and feathers.
